Typography and illustration was used to communicate the company’s ethos and values of environmental and health advantages against its Mediterranean cousin – Virgin and Extra Virgin Olive Oil which have little on shelf impact and use similar iconography of provenance.
The packaging challenge was answered after an extensive hunt with a unique aluminium solution. By choosing this route the business was living up to their own values: the solution not only sets them apart visually on shelf but also bolsters their environmental credentials with packaging that is more environmentally friendly that glass or plastic. It also keeps the product in better condition and is cheaper than the alternatives.
Quite rightly they were delighted with their choice of agency partner for this process and saw a massive ROI with this simple task even before the main branding work.
