About The Ambitions Agency
Who owns The Ambitions Agency?
The Ambitions Agency is owned by Nick Burrage and his son, Manny Burrage, the two directors of Ambitions Web Ltd (Companies House). Nick, a former big-brand marketer, leads our SEO and content. Manny builds our AI systems, from automated review requests to customer-service systems that answer thousands of phone calls a month for large UK organisations.
Who works at The Ambitions Agency?
A small, senior team. Nick Burrage leads SEO and content. His son, Manny Burrage, leads AI systems and review automation. Wes and Liyana van Wyk, a husband-and-wife team, lead our technical SEO. Rick, our developer, handles the heavy coding, and we work with a design director on every website. AI supports all of us, which lets a small team cover more ground and keeps your costs down.
How long has The Ambitions Agency been in business?
The Ambitions Agency, as Ambitions Web Ltd, launched in January 2024, focused on SEO and website growth. The experience behind it goes back much further. Nick Burrage has worked in agencies for around 30 years, including more than a decade in big-brand advertising at Saatchi & Saatchi, Samsung Europe and Ogilvy, and has run his own agencies since 2016. Today we look after 54 websites.
Where is The Ambitions Agency based, and can I meet you in person?
We're based in Exeter, Devon, and yes, we're happy to meet face to face anywhere in Exeter and Devon. Clients elsewhere in the UK and in the USA work with us by video.
Does The Ambitions Agency use AI?
Yes. AI runs through everything we do, and a big part of our work is getting clients recommended by AI tools such as ChatGPT. What we never do is publish content written by AI alone. Every piece starts with a structured interview with you, and Nick checks every word against Google's E-E-A-T standard: experience, expertise, authoritativeness and trust. AI lets our team cover more ground in less time, which is why our prices are lower than you might expect.
What The Ambitions Agency does
What does The Ambitions Agency do?
We turn your website into a revenue machine. Most businesses get a fraction of what their website could bring in. We structure your site so Google, AI tools and people can all understand it, create the content with you that wins business, and get the technical SEO right so enquiries keep growing. Around that, we automate your review collection, run Google and Meta ads where they'll pay off, and use AI to follow up every lead.

- Website design and build
- Content creation, using the Endless Customers™ method
- Content and sales coaching
- Google Business Profile management
- Google Ads
- Meta ads (Facebook and Instagram)

Is The Ambitions Agency an SEO agency?
Yes, SEO is at the heart of what we do. We run Google and Meta ads too, but ads are expensive and only pay off fully once your website, content and SEO are right. So that's where we start.
Can I hire The Ambitions Agency just for SEO?
Yes. SEO on its own starts from £650 / $825 a month. But we'll be straight with you, where many SEO agencies won't: SEO only keeps working if your website gets a steady flow of fresh, useful content. Tweaking the same five pages month after month won't grow your business. So we'll help you create that content, whether you write it with our guidance or we write it for you.
Does The Ambitions Agency build websites?
Yes, and it's one of our favourite parts of the job. We look after 54 websites, for clients ranging from large global organisations and two hospices that each raise millions in donations a year, to a local vet. Every site is structured for Google, AI and people, and it's yours: we give you the keys and help you feel confident updating it yourself. We don't build online shops, and we're happy to point you to specialists who do.
Who writes the content: The Ambitions Agency or me?
We do. Writing for the internet is a specialist skill, and most businesses aren't big enough to employ a writer. Each week we run a carefully structured interview with you or one of your experts and draw out what you know. We turn it into one or two solid pieces, written so Google and AI tools can understand them, and you approve every word before we publish. If you want, we also reshape it for LinkedIn and social media.
What is Endless Customers, and how does The Ambitions Agency use it?
Endless Customers™ is the globally proven content marketing method created by speaker and best-selling author Marcus Sheridan, first known as They Ask, You Answer. It's built on one idea: honestly answer the questions buyers ask while they research you. Done well, it brings more people to your website and they arrive already trusting you. People Nick has never met often greet him with "Hello, Nick" in a first meeting, because they've watched his videos. Nick is a certified Endless Customers coach, and we use the method for every client's content and sales process.
What kinds of businesses does The Ambitions Agency work with?
We work best with businesses whose customers research carefully before they buy, which is nearly always a service. You can't test-drive a new roof or send back a facial procedure after 30 days. You pay first and find out afterwards, so the business that earns the buyer's trust wins. Our clients sell things like £30,000 beds, $50,000 swimming pools, $25,000 roofs and £10,000 cosmetic procedures.
Cost
How much does The Ambitions Agency cost?
Our full service is £2,850 / $3,600 a month. That covers everything you need to grow: content coaching, content creation and our SEO team working on your business every month. Our aim is to double the size of your business. Larger businesses start from £5,000 / $6,250 a month, which adds more interviews with more of your team, AI systems to handle a bigger flow of enquiries, and video support. If you'd rather start smaller, SEO on its own is from £650 / $825 a month and automated review collection is £269 / $340 a month. See full pricing.
Why does The Ambitions Agency cost more than a freelancer?
Because you get a whole team, not one person. Nick Burrage leads your SEO and content and is a certified Endless Customers coach. His son, Manny Burrage, builds AI systems used by some of the UK's largest leisure businesses, so every lead is followed up and every question answered. Behind them are Wes and Liyana van Wyk on SEO, plus a design director and a developer. A freelancer can be a good fit for a small startup. A business that's ready to grow needs everything a marketing department does.
Are there any extra costs on top of the monthly fee?
Only two. If you need a new website, it costs £7,500 to £15,000 / $9,500 to $19,000 and takes 3 to 5 weeks to build, plus hosting and maintenance. And if you want to advertise, your ad budget is separate and agreed with you. For your first three months, we also put money towards your Google Ads budget ourselves, at no extra cost to you.
Contracts and risk
Is there a contract with The Ambitions Agency?
No. None of our clients is on a contract, and there's no minimum term. They stay because they can see it working.
What happens if The Ambitions Agency doesn't get me results?
You don't pay. Start with one month: you get an invoice, and if you don't feel it was worth it, you don't pay it. The same applies every month after. So far, everyone has chosen to continue, but the offer is real.
If I leave The Ambitions Agency, what do I keep?
Once your website is paid for, it's yours, along with all your content, your Google Business Profile and your ad accounts. The review system and AI systems are monthly services, so they stop when you leave.
What are the downsides of working with The Ambitions Agency?
Honestly, there's one: we need an hour a week of your time. That sounds small, but some owners find it hard, and that tells you something. If you're running around solving a hundred problems a day, you haven't got a business, you've got a job. Great marketing needs you at the heart of it, because no one knows your business like you do. If you can't find that hour yet, the first step is freeing up your time, and we'll tell you so.
Who shouldn't hire The Ambitions Agency?
We're not the right fit if you sell low-cost products online in high volumes, if you've stepped back from running your business, or if you want marketing taken off your plate with no involvement from you.
Comparisons
Is The Ambitions Agency better than hiring a marketing manager?
For most growing businesses, yes, because one hire usually goes one of two ways. A senior marketer will want to direct rather than do, so they soon need an assistant, tools and an agency budget, and they cost well over £70,000 / $90,000 a year. A junior will do the work but can't yet set the strategy, and a small business can't give them the training a big marketing department would. With us you get a proven strategy and a team that carries it out every week, with the tools included, for less than one senior hire.
How is The Ambitions Agency different from a big agency?
At a big agency, you meet the senior people at the pitch, but a junior account manager usually runs your business day to day. They're juggling many clients, and every question goes up the chain and back. You're also helping to pay for the glass offices. With us, the senior person you meet, Nick Burrage, is the one working on your business every week, and he's responsible for growing your revenue, not ticking boxes. Katherine Brown, who has worked with big agencies, says she gets the same level of service from us, at a very different price. A big agency is the right choice for a household-name brand. For most growing businesses, we're the better fit.
Why not do my marketing myself with ChatGPT?
You can, if you have the time. For a startup with no budget, it's a good route. Use ChatGPT, Claude or another AI tool, but don't rely on it alone: first learn what works in your sector from tutorials and your own research, then feed that knowledge into the AI. If you're running a serious business, you probably don't have that time, and rushed AI content does more harm than good. Connecting everything up properly is still very technical work, and that setup is a big part of what we do.
Reviews and results
Is The Ambitions Agency any good? Where are your reviews?
You can read around 30 reviews on our Google Business Profile, where we're rated 4.9 out of 5. There are fewer than you'd see for a shop, because we work closely with a small number of clients and they tend to stay for years. Our one negative review came from a man who asked for his logo files many years after we designed his logo. They were on a CD in our storage unit, and we said we'd charge £40 to dig them out. A member of the public replied that if £40 was a problem for his business, he had bigger problems than finding old logo files. We'll let you be the judge.
What results has The Ambitions Agency got for clients?
Katherine Brown, a London interior designer with a core team of two, doubled her business to £23,000 a week, and her website traffic went from around 290 to over 1,200 visits a month in the first year. One article we wrote for Brent's luxury bed showrooms in London brought in a £32,000 sale, and the month after it happened again. Kalen, a plumber in Kansas City, went from breaking even to $80,000 a month in profit.
Can I speak to one of your clients?
Yes. If you're seriously considering working with us, we'll happily introduce you to a current client so you can ask them anything.
Working with The Ambitions Agency
What happens in the first month with The Ambitions Agency?
In week one, you'll know exactly what we're doing and why. By day five, review requests are going out to your happy customers, and by day seven new reviews are coming in. By day 21, your website is tuned for Google and AI, or your new one is live. By day 30, new enquiries are arriving from Google Ads.
How quickly will The Ambitions Agency get me results?
Honestly, nobody can promise a date. The quickest we've seen is new enquiries through a brand-new website in about five weeks. Content and SEO usually take around three months to build real momentum, so we sometimes run ads at the start to bring enquiries in sooner. If you're in a hurry, tell us: give us more of your time in the early weeks and we'll match it, and you'll see results faster.
How involved do I need to be?
One hour a week. That's a structured interview where we draw out what you know, and it's what all your content is built on. Many clients choose to run longer, and if you want faster results, more of your time early on speeds things up.
How do I get started with The Ambitions Agency?
Get in touch and tell us where your business is now and where you want it to be. There's no pitch and no pressure. You'll come away knowing what's missing, whether you work with us or not.
